As the end of the semester approaches, the Blough-Weis Library will be offering a wide variety of fun and stress-relieving events in preparation for finals.

On Thursday, December 12th, Paws to Relax will be happening from 2 to 4 PM For this event, local therapy dogs will be in the library, tails wagging and eager to be pet!

The next day, on Friday the 13th, we’ll be holding out 17th annual Chill Out from 7 to 11 PM.

Ornaments, cookies, and mugs will be available on the main floor of the library for decorating and in the basement, the VIP Center will have cards to decorate as well. We will also have 4 massage therapists in the library from 8 to 10 PM, courtesy of the VIP Center. Signups for massages start at 7, so be sure to get there early and relax with some decorating while you wait! Finally, there will be snacks, a bake sale, games, and even a prize raffle available to everyone.

While we want to help students to unwind and de-stress before finals, we also want to help them prepare.

Through collaboration with SGA, the library will be open until 3am beginning December 9th all the way until the 19th! During these extended hours, all regular library services, including book and laptop circulation, will be available until closing and all three floors of the library will remain open. Make sure to bring your S.U. ID with you!

We hope to see you all very soon, but until then, we wish you luck in everything that you do!
