⬆️ This you? Midterm season has snuck up on us yet again, and when the work starts piling up, so do the questions about your research. How do you cite this? Where can you find a source for that? It’s like every sentence brings something else to feel unsure about. Luckily for Susquehanna students, our campus library has an arsenal of tools to ensure your success as a student for all your research and studying needs.

One of the most beloved features of the Blough-Weis Library page is the orange “Ask a Librarian” button, featured on the righthand side. In one click, you have one of our amazing librarians at the tip of your fingers without even having to leave your dorm room. This chat feature gives students the ability to verbalize their issues into a text and send it off to the librarian on-call. In only a matter of minutes, they will respond to any and all questions you have to make your paper or research easy and stress-free to complete.

If you do better face-to-face, librarians are also available to meet students one-on-one and walk you through the process to get you from midterm panic to enjoying your spring break. For easy scheduling, visit the home page once again and click the blue “Meet With Your Librarian” located along the bottom of the page. This will bring a pop-up page where you can select the best librarian for your needs and schedule a time. To see which librarian is right for your questions, visit the Library Liaisons list, divided by department.

For questions about citations, see if the Citation Guides online can help you. By picking the citation style they need, students can access reference examples for multiple source types, how to create in-text citations correctly, and basic examples of these citations. These citation guides layout the confusing and difficult parts of citing resources in an easy-to-read and more understandable format, making your work practically finished before you even have to start.

The Blough-Weis Library is here to help make Susquehanna students feel successful in their work. For any help or guidance in your studies, visit the library online or in-person to benefit from all of the amazing resources we have available for you.
