Together they travel through the world, uncovering long buried secrets and forlorn feelings.
Clam Down: A Metamorphosis
Anelise Chen
In this memoir, inspired by a typo from her mother telling her to clam down in the midst of hardship, author Anelise Chen ponders the meaning of such a phrase. After her divorce, she struggled, and retreated away from society. Only after this experience of returning to her shell is she able to reconcile with her past and truly move on. By lowering her walls, she is better able to heal.
