Some opinions need to be relaxed to respect others.
The biggest thing you sacrifice is your ability to voice your opinion because some liberal snowflake will get offended and demand you be kicked off campus so you don’t hurt their feelings again. You Also sacrifice the ability to eat good food. You gain an education.
when i bump up against SUism I back off. i wont change to fit in
Surrender: parts of the private life
Gain: a sense of community
i surrender my time for specific parts of the community and gain experience and satisfaction
at times , i surrender my leadership skills, but i also gain more at times as well
I surrender my ability to express my beliefs everyday because the snowflakes think I am too harsh or politically incorrect. I have to pretend to be a liberal throughout my papers so I can maintain a good grade in the class. I know of people who have been spit on for wearing Trump shirts. You also surrender the ability to eat, I got e coli from the school’s food and was hospitalized for a week because the e coli spread to my kidneys. This school is repulsive and I will never call this screwed up place home. I truly regret my college decision, I should have never came here.
i surrender my shyness and i gain a opportunity to speak up
a voice
friends and diversity
I don’t think ive surrendered anything. ive gained a new found sense of individuality
I *temporarily* lose part of my identity but I gain a better understanding of how and when to deal with ignorant individuals.
