Euglenoids, trypanosomes, bodonids: totally intranuclear spindle. C. Xanthophytes, prasinophytes, chlorophytes, and probably chloromonads: intranuclear spindle with associated extranuclear elements. D. Cryptomonads, chrysomonads, diplomonads: semi-open mitosis – entry of extranuclear spindles through polar fenestrae. E. Eustigmatophytes, haptophytes, prasinophytes, chlorophytes, open mitosis. |
