The Central Susquehanna Valley History Project builds upon the work of Susquehanna University students and faculty. The main contributors to the project are SU history department student research assistants, student researchers funded by Summer Opportunities Grants, and students in SU’s Pennsylvania’s Pasts and Publics course.
The project began in earnest in 2015.
As the project develops, we hope to receive comments and contributions from residents of the Central Susquehanna Valley. We hope to keep building layers of narrative and interpretation over time, striving for what the historian Charles Joyner has called “asking large questions in small places.”
