The Blough-Weis Library has implemented a new way for students, especially those in the Sigmund Weis School of Business, to get up-to-date news on all the happenings within the business sphere. Now, with your Susquehanna University email address, you can sign up for free access to The Wall Street Journal.
Signing up is quick and easy – just visit WSJ.com/Susquehanna and use your SU email to create an account. If you are already a WSJ subscriber, you can call 1-800-JOURNAL and explain that you are switching to their school-sponsored subscription program. They will even issue partial refunds.
This free subscription offers unlimited access to WSJ content online or through the app, while also providing newsletters, videos, and podcasts.
Previously, Susquehanna had access to the print version of WSJ, but this summer that access was lost. Therefore, the library decided upon this new method to provide all students with timely news on business, finance, politics, and global affairs.
Another unique aspect of this subscription model is they offer a special graduation journey offer. For graduating seniors, WSJ offers a discounted subscription at $2 per month for their first year out of college. This a 95% discount on the standard rate, and those who participate will continue to receive discounted rates for the following seven years.
