  1. No. You’re only accepted if you’re a non athletic regular person who is as far liberal as possible and if you’re anything else you’re hated on this campus as a result of it

  2. I think my perception has changed because i’m in a sorority and i’ve met some people, mostly in thats, who are just totally backward but also very forward. They make me feel safe and scared.

  3. I don’t think so. I believe that they advertise this acceptance, but really only go out of their way to “accept” transgender students and anyone who does not “identify” as male or female.

  4. No one is accepting of any republicans on campus, and everyone here is so offended about everything. I was raised republican, and I never realized how liberal literally everyone is here. I had a teacher tell me how important it was for me to vote, and when I replied with “You don’t want my vote, I’m a republican.” He replied with, “You’re right, we don’t want your vote.” Professors and administration try to brainwash you in every class because they think it is important to keep everyone in this school democratic.

    1. I am sorry if, as a Republican, you feel marginalized for your political beliefs. I really hope the reply by your teacher was meant as a joke, and even if it was. it was a totally uncalled for and unprofessional response. Unfortunately, being ‘conservative’ throws a person into an extreme category of the worst that people associate with ‘republican’. Just as being a ‘progressive’ throws democrats into an extreme category as well. There are no longer shades of gray. It is a sad, sad result of our current political climate that has created a ‘us vs. them’ knee-jerk reaction mentality.
