I remixed my short short from last semester called “Divided”, which portrays a scene between the narrator and her conflict with what she perceives to be her self-reflection. My remix includes the original text with additional hypertext fiction features including images, extended text, and a few subtle animations. The purpose of the remix was to expand the audience and the interpretation of the text with these features. When you hover your cursor over the red markers images appear which elaborate on the of self-reflection and identity in the text. When you hover your cursor over the yellow markers more information on the word or phrase appear, which is to give you more background on the mathematical diction, and the influence of statistics on the overall interpretation.
